Lauren

My name is Lauren, and exploring wild places near and far with my two sweet puppers, Bonnie & Ada, is my most beloved activity. I’m a teacher by trade, and an adventurer at heart.

Together with my pupper gals, I hike constantly, road trip regularly, and am here to help you discover all the fascinating places, near and far, you can explore with your dog!

Ada

Ada is a Klee Kai & Shiba Inu mix, but we just call her a little husky because she acts like one! We adopted her from a friend of a friend who needed to re-home her as a pup. She’s spicy, with a seriously lovey streak. She’s playful, goofy, and hates to be left out of any activities.

Ada’s ultimate hike is one that allows her to roll in snow, climb around on rocks, and jump in a lake.

Bonnie

Bonnie is a mix of all dogs, and we call her a dog shaped dog. We adopted her as an adult, and she’s always been an angel. She’s sweet, devoted, disciplined, a (mostly) good listener, and all she really wants is to be anywhere her people are.

Bonnie’s ultimate hike is one where she can be off-leash, serving as the wayfinding leader – a job she’s just about perfect at.

Where We’ve Been

I do a lot of solo travel with the pupper gals, but we also love to road trip with my spouse and dog dad extraordinaire Bryan. We’re based in Denver, so a lot of our content is Colorado-focused, but share content from around the US. We hike and travel year round, and look for ways to connect each adventure with the best of what every season has to offer.

Our Mission

As more and more people have connected with our content, our mission has become to empower and equip everyone who wants to adventure with their dog.

We share our favorite hikes, outdoor tips and tricks, dog-friendly road trip ideas, and all things relevant to dog-obsessed adventurers.

Meaning of Adventure

Adventure can mean different things to different people and different dogs. The most important part is to seek unusual, exciting, beautiful, and unexpected experiences that bring humans and their beloved creatures closer with themselves, each other, and the earth.

We’re so glad you’re here!
